Joshua James releases new album, "Sing Songs"


This collection of songs was taken from the "Build Me This" sessions. There were at total of 26 songs that were recorded.13 of them made it to the record. These five songs almost made it, but we felt that they had a sparkle all their own.

Party @ Velour Oct 24th

Huge North Platte Records party Oct. 24th Velour @ 8 in Provo, UT. RuRu, Desert Noises, The McKay Stevens Project, and Drew Capener. Free RuRu record for everyone that comes. Also we will be premiering the Desert Noises EP during the party. Portions of proceeds going to charity. Bring a can of food and get a dollar off. This show is going to be huge and will probably sell out so get there early.

Crash this Train/The Garden Mini EP released on itunes exclusive Sept. 23rd. Hit #1 on Top Songs folk charts. Thanks to everyone for buying it and supporting the music.

North Platte Records is working with a new band, Desert Noises. We are just finishing their debut EP which we are very excited about. These are songs you wake up whistling every morning. Expect a release in late Nov. early Dec. Come hear the record first at the Oct. 24th party.

RuRu Album Release Party

North Platte Records will be having a cd release party for RuRu's first cd "Elizabeth" on June 6th at Velour in Provo, Utah. This album was named after RuRu's mother who passed away a couple years ago from cancer. This 16 year old phenom shows great maturity on this album in writing about some of the issues he went through. We are very proud of this release and can't stop listening to it.
